Emilie Wilson, School Psychologist

Welcome!
I work with our students, teachers, counselors, and parents to assist our students succeed academically, socially, behaviorally, and emotionally. Primarily, I support our students with unique learning needs, requiring special education services to make educational progress.

If your child is a general education student (not receiving any special education services), and you believe he/she/they may require additional supports or interventions at school, please contact his/her/their school counselor.

If your child currently has an IEP and you believe he/she/they may require additional supports, please contact his/her/their case manager.

Distance Learning
This school year, we are not just learning algebra concepts and how to analyze a text, but developing resilience, strengthening life skills, and discovering new coping strategies. Now more than ever, it is important to make sure our use of coping strategies is healthy and positive. Your mental and emotional health is just as important as your physical health.

Some suggestions for healthy coping:
  • Get outside and take a walk
  • Draw, paint, craft, etc.
  • Exercise
  • Listen to music
  • Play an instrument
  • Ask for help and support
  • Keep in touch with friends and family
  • Take deep breaths
  • Play with a pet
  • Journal
  • Positive self-talk

Please do not hesitate to contact me via email me during the period of school dismissal:
Office hours are Monday-Friday 8:00-4:00.
