History of KFWK
History of KFWK
In 1997 Shelley and Mark Breiner set out on the mission to grant one wish to a child with a life-threatening condition. What inspired the Breiners was Shelley's father's fight against cancer. While dealing with her father's illness, they came across other families whose children were fighting this deadly disease. With the passing of Shelley's father, Shelley and her husband sold their business and embarked on the journey to make Kids Wish network a reality. Since its inception, the program now serves over 100,000 children worldwide each year. Even though the Breiners are retired, the organization still continues to grant wishes and continues to grow and serve more and more children around the world.
"I look forward to seeing Kids Wish network build upon the legacy we have created and continued to offer innovative programs and services to help many more children in the future," Shelley Breiner.
