Children Hospital
The overall goal of the Samuels Family LA-HIP is to provide students who identify as an underrepresented minority in medicine and science with the opportunity to learn hands-on laboratory-based research and to support them in their quest to become scientists or physician scientists. Eligible students are those who are applying in the Fall of their Junior year of high school, and who have a strong interest in the field of Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM).

Casa Youth

Youth Leadership Program

Casa Youth Shelter’s Youth Leadership Program (YLP) provides peer-to-peer and community-based outreach, while also developing leadership skills and fostering community engagement in young people. The program is designed for high school students and offers personal growth through community service, volunteer activities, and public awareness.

 

Since 2011, YLP has been an official chapter with the Orange County Department of Education Friday Night Live program. In 2016-17, YLP was honored as a Chapter of Excellence.

IDSGT is always looking for new volunteers to help out on their chatline. Limited Term - Seasonal Positions, No Benefits
Youth Flag Football Official - $24.21 per each one-hour game
Youth Volleyball/Volleytennis Official - $24.21 per each one-hour game

The City of Lakewood is seeking responsible individuals to officiate flag football and volleyball/volleytennis games beginning October 10, 2022 and ending December 3, 2022. These are at-will positions and the incumbents serve at the pleasure of the City Manager or designee.

Note: The first training session will be held on Wednesday, September 07, 2022 at Mayfair Park, 5720 Clark Avenue. All new hire applicants must attend the first meeting to advance in the process. Training sessions are mandatory.
